At first thought it may look like this blog is going to be about taking a traditional loan out from a bank or using credit cards. Well it’s not, it’s about actually borrowing or loaning money to family or friends. I have a personal experience that is motivating this blog in which I’ve loaned out a small amount of money. It is not an amount that will make a difference in my life so the issue is not the amount of money, the issue is that I’m now not expecting to get back this money. It’s sad because I felt like this person should be trusted, but now I pretty much feel like they never intended on paying it back. And one of the worst parts is that they wanted to borrow a lot more money then what I ended up lending. I do have some friends and family that won’t hesitate to ask for some money, my new policy is to just say no. And I suggest you do the same.
